TYR does not give ChatGPT an unrestricted health database. It exposes six specific, read-only summaries. Each one answers a different class of question while preserving coverage, missing-data semantics, goals, units and interpretation cautions.

Six narrow tools, one user-controlled boundary

All six tools are read-only, scoped to the connected user, designed around specific question types, user-authorized and revocable. They expose structured summaries rather than raw database access. They cannot edit, delete or create TYR health records, and they do not expose raw wearable samples or device identifiers.

Read-only does not mean context-free. TYR includes coverage, definitions, goals, warnings and missing-data semantics so ChatGPT knows what the numbers can—and cannot—support.

What Model Context Protocol means here

Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is a standard way for an AI product to discover and call clearly described tools. ChatGPT chooses one or more TYR tools based on the user’s question, receives the authorized structured summaries, and performs the conversational reasoning.
